William Henry Pulido, director de la Unidad de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres de la Cruz Roja Seccional Meta, indicó que con el cuerpo de Bomberos, Defensa Civil, Cruz Roja Colombiana con el apoyo y soporte del Consejo Municipal de Gestión del Riesgo, se generaron con éxito este ejercicio práctico, simulando que se podría tratar de una situación real.
Este simulacro es un ejercicio académico, donde se lleva a la práctica lo que ya se ha preparado con antelación. Este preparará a los colombianos para evacuar y enfrentarse a los distintos desastres naturales que podrían presentarse en cada región.
