Además la entidad apostará por las reservas costa afuera para orientarla hacia la maximización del potencial del gas en el Caribe colombiano, en esa transición energética, el gas tendrá un papel relevante, aseguró el presidente de la compañía.
Ecopetrol espera optimizar el consumo interno de energía en 25 petajulios en el acumulado 2018-2030 y no contempla la exploración de hidrocarburos en yacimientos no convencionales en Colombia.
